What we are about...
As a church family, we want to live to the glory of God for the joy of all peoples. (This is a motto from Bethlehem Baptist Church that we quite like and chose to borrow.) The Great Commandment to "love God with all of our heart, minds, soul, and strength" and the Great Commission "to make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything He has commanded" serve as guides for our expressions of ministry and worship.

Staff
Pastor
Carl Johnson has served as Pastor since December 2006. He is a graduate of Campbell University with Bachelor of Arts in Religion (1997) and of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity (2000). He and his wife of 13 years, Shelley, have two children, Caleb and Kaylee.
Financial Secretary
Karen Robinson joined the First Baptist Icard staff January of 2010. She and her husband John have been members of FBI since 1993 and have one child, Cabe.
Student Minister
Fred Brown was named Student Minister in January of 2010. Fred is married to Tracie and has two kids, Fred and Amanda.
Interim Worship Leader
Susan McGee was named interim worship leader in April of 2011. Susan is married to Mike and has one daughter, Britainy.
Child Enrichment Center Director
Suzanne Smith transitioned to the role of Child Enrichment Center Director in May of 2010 and has worked diligently to continue the excellent work of our five star center.
Ronnie Dennie has served as church custodian since 2003.
